Happy Monday! I’m over-caffeinated at the moment, but otherwise things are good around here. We have just two more days of work before we break for the holidays, but there’s a LOT to do in those two days, so if you need me I’ll be holed up in my office with a stack of K-cups and my Spotify.
I don’t have a ton of weekend things to report, but let’s catch up anyway, shall we? Half the pictures I took ended up on Instagram, so if you follow me you’ll just be treated to them a second time around. On Friday we had an office-wide luncheon to celebrate the holidays. It was great to take a break from the applications and spend some time together.
I had the most delicious salmon and veggies for my meal and it hit the spot. I wish I could have salmon more often, but Riley’s not really a fan.
As soon as I got home and put my yoga pants on, Riley got an invitation from a friend to meet him out at Fat Tuna for a drink so I rallied and put real pants back on.
It ended up being great and an impromptu date night. We ordered two different kinds of oysters and shared an order of fish tacos that were to die for!
The rest of my weekend was really low-key. We had a couple great dinners at home, I did some Christmas shopping, and went to a barre class Sunday morning. Sunday was a very bizarre day because the high reached 75 degrees, so it felt like spring!
And now as I type this, it’s in the 30s……
Weekly Workout Plan
So I’ve been a big-time slacker in the workout department for the last two weeks. I noticed in barre class how much harder everything felt and decided I needed to do less wine drinking and more exercising! Whenever I type up my plan I do a much better job at sticking to it, so here’s what’s on my tentative agenda for the week:
- Monday- Run 3 miles
- Tuesday- Hot yoga
- Wednesday- Run 3 miles, ab work
- Thursday- Barre
- Friday- Rest
- Saturday- Barre, long walk with Bella
- Sunday- CHRISTMAS! My exercise will consist of carrying presents around
