Happy Friday! Also, happy Memorial Day weekend for all my American friends. I’m super excited about the long weekend and being able to wear white pants again. I’m working tomorrow morning for a few hours, but then the rest of the weekend will likely be a combination of packing and beach time. The sun is supposed to (finally!) come out, so I’ve got my swimsuits ready!
In typical Friday fashion, I’ve got a little roundup of all my favorite things from this week. I’ve been distracted lately, so this is a shorter list than usual, but here’s what I’ve been loving!
America’s Next Top Model
I used to watch this show all the time, but I completely forgot about it until this week. With it being slow at work, I like to put a show on one of my computer monitors while I work and all of the seasons were on Hulu so I jumped right back in. The show is really cheesy, but I can’t help myself!
Celine Dion performing My Heart Will Go On
20 years?!?! I was 12 when Titanic came out in theaters, which meant I saw it approximately 2,600 times. Celine’s performance gave me chills! The movie was so epic and amazing and I remember how sick we all got of hearing the song play on the radio every 2.5 seconds. Seeing this reprisal brought me right back to my tween years. Queen slayed it!
I’ve been browsing the internet for days trying to plan for the new house and I’ve found so many amazing things! My current favorite is the wine shelves above from Etsy. They’re super cute and homemade, so I think our new dining area needs a little wine bar. Now to find a cabinet to go with it. My to-buy list keeps piling up and it’ll be a miracle if we have any money left by the end of the summer…
I’m basically obsessed with feta cheese and ever since I saw this recipe online I’ve been obsessed with it. It looks so simple, but I bet it’s amazing with fresh crostini. This will definitely be on my Memorial Day weekend menu!
Last night was so fun! My cousin Mallory and I met up for dinner.
After dinner, we went to a Chainsmokers concert, which turned out to be really fun. Even though it was a later night than I usually have, it was definitely worth it. They’re a super talented group and they put on an awesome show!
Today I’m spending the day at the beach with my cousin, then it’s back to the world of packing and organizing. Hope you all have an awesome weekend!
