Oooh, Friday, I am so happy to see you! Who’s as excited as I am for the weekend??
Things I’m looking forward to:
- The return of spring weather (mid-70s tomorrow!!)
- Having two full days off
- Checking out the Colonial Williamsburg lambs
That’s right, ladies and gents. The cutest little babies have arrived in Williamsburg for the spring season and I cannot wait to go see them. The official CW Facebook page posted this pic and now I definitely need to go.
If you think I’m a dork and are currently judging me…..I don’t care, I’m going to see the lambs.
There were a lot of other great things that happened this week. Here’s what I’ve been loving the past few days!
We had a farewell party for a staff member who’s leaving after several years with us, so we used it as an excuse to stuff our faces.
Not pictured is the 18 helpings of buffalo chicken dip….and my second mini plate of food….and the cake I ate later in the afternoon. It’s not quite the gluttony fest that the Annual Chili Cookoff is, but it was close.
Snuggles with Coco
This little one has been especially needy lately. Yes, that’s her rolling over like a dog to get my attention. Every night while Riley and I relax, Coco has to climb onto my chest and wrap her paws around my neck. I can’t tell if she’s trying to get closer or strangle me….she’s purring while she does it, so maybe she doesn’t want to murder me?
You know how I gave Riley all that shit last week for his obsessions with our new house? Well, I have no room to talk, because I’ve been ALL over Pinterest lately. Here are some of my favorites (the headline links to the Pin).
Somebody stop me!!
As if all these future house expenses weren’t enough, I’ve been stalking Laura’s Instagram account for her Paris pictures to get ideas for our trip in…..(hang on, I’m counting)….. less than 6 weeks!
Girl’s Happy Hour
I hadn’t seen my friend Tara in weeks until last night, when we met at Hounds Tale for a drink and to catch up. She got the flu, along with everyone else in town, and was out of commission for a while. It was great to relax after a long work day and catch up with a girlfriend!
I think that about catches us up! My weekend plans aren’t really set yet, but I plan on getting outside a lot, hitting up the farmer’s market, running outside, going to barre, and just enjoying the downtime.
Have a great weekend!
What have you been loving this week?
Has Pinterest ruined your ability to be realistic about your expectation? Thank goodness we didn’t have Pinterest back when I was planning my wedding!
What are you looking forward to doing this weekend?
