We’re halfway through the work week!! We’re supposed to get some snow around here today, but it’s unclear how much, so by the time you read this I’ll either be at the office or holed up at my house. Have I mentioned I hate snow?
Since everyone’s on the healthy meal train in January, I thought I’d take you through one of my days of recent meals. As I mentioned on Monday, Riley’s trying to eat healthier too, which makes it a lot easier for me to stay on track. And since just showing pics of food can get old, I figured I’d show you how my whole day went down. Enjoy!
5:00 AM- alarm goes off and I come thiiiiis close to turning it off and going back to sleep. Then I remember I’m documenting my day for the blog, so I rally (“do it for the blog, Kelly!”). I throw clothes on, and head to the gym. My workout is a 30 minute run followed by some rowing and ab work. I don’t realize my shirt is inside out until I take this picture.
7:45 AM- Arrive at work, get settled, and make a cup of hot tea while catching up on email. I also spend a few minutes with my planner each day getting organized and prioritizing my projects for the day.
11:00 AM- Back in my office for work and more tea.
12:00 PM- Lunch! I have leftovers from a recent Mexican night. In my bowl went Spanish rice, black beans, corn, peppers, Beyond Beef crumbles in taco seasoning, sour cream, and salsa (sour cream and salsa added after I snapped this pic).
1:00-5:00 PM- Make some coffee to wake up, then read applications all afternoon in my office while watching Dawson’s Creek. Did you ever watch that show back in the day? I never did, but I started over the weekend and now I’m obsessed. It’s so stupid, but I can’t stop watching.
5:00 PM- Time for my evening commute! I listen to an episode of My Dad Wrote A Porno podcast and laugh my ass off all the way home. Stop at the store for a bottle of wine and some extra items.
6:15 PM- Finally home and in my comfy clothes! Our meal plan says we’re having spaghetti for dinner, but the fridge is overflowing with leftovers that we don’t want to waste, so I heat up leftover broccoli cheddar bake from Sunday night. Riley gives me the remote and I watch House Hunters and more Dawson’s Creek until I get sleepy.
9:15 PM- Finish typing up this post, head upstairs, and read for a bit.
9:30 PM- Lights out!
What did you have for dinner last night?
What shows are you currently watching?
