Hey friends! Hope your week is going well so far. I’m just popping in to wish all my American friends a Happy Thanksgiving.
I’m off work for the rest of the week (praise!) and plan on relaxing with Riley today, getting my nails done, and getting my car washed. We’re also going to get stuff ready for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. My parents are coming down to visit, so I’m looking forward to hanging with them and seeing their pup, Domino, who is just about the only dog in the world that Bella likes. Maybe she knows he’s family?
I like to do something active on Thanksgiving morning, so I plan on getting in a run or workout at home. If anyone’s looking to do a quick workout in the morning, this one is a favorite of mine. It’s so simple you can do it in your living room while you watch the parade!
Friday will be spent Black Friday shopping and decorating for Christmas, then the rest of the weekend is up in the air at this point!
I’ve been staring at a computer screen for weeks at work, so I plan on unplugging for most of the week. I’ll be back on Monday with a recap of our Thanksgiving festivities, but in the meantime you can catch me on my Instagram stories.
Have a great rest of your week!!
What’s your favorite Thanksgiving tradition?
Do you like shopping on Black Friday?
What’s your favorite Thanksgiving side dish? Mine is corn pudding from Ukrops, a grocery store I grew up with in Richmond, VA. They sold off the grocery stores several years ago, but still sell everyone’s favorite prepared foods in other stores around Richmond/Williamsburg. While we cook most of our dishes, that corn pudding just can’t be duplicated. Luckily, my mom was able to secure one, so the tradition continues.
