Ahhh we finally made it to Friday! This was a pretty busy week and, while I have to work tomorrow, I’m thrilled that this is my last 6-day work week until the end of January. Plus, I have Thanksgiving break next week, which will be MUCH needed.
I hope you all have had a great week. Mine has been pretty good around here and I’m linking up with the lovely Heather to share some of the things that have made me smile this week. Enjoy!
After lamenting how much I’ve missed quality time with Riley lately, my boss suggested I leave a few hours early so we could hang out on Riley’s day off. It was a perfect fall day, so I was excited to spend some time outside while I was at it.
After getting home early and taking Bella for a walk, Riley and I made our way to Colonial Williamsburg for a long walk before dinner.
It was gorgeous outside and all the leaves were different colors. We walked all the way down Duke of Gloucester Street and back, taking in the sights and enjoying being outside.
They were setting up an ice skating rink, which will stay put through the winter months. My mission will be to convince Riley to go with me. He’s already assured me that won’t be happening, soooo. Challenge accepted.
After our walk, we headed over a couple streets to Hound’s Tale, one of our favorite new restaurants in town.
We started our meal with an espresso martini and some pimiento cheese monkey bread, AKA best combo of biscuits and gooey cheese in the world.
The rest of the meal was just as fantastic. We had some wine, a flatbread, this amazing crab stuffed ravioli…..it was all incredible and we now tell everyone to go there when they’re in town.
Beauty And The Beast
Ok, so I’m sure a million other people will agree that the release of this trailer was one of the best things to happen all week.
Black Friday Ads
I’ll admit, I love Black Friday shopping. I do a lot of it online, but I’ve also perfected a route through Williamsburg that will cover the outlets and a lot of my favorite stores while it’s still actually calm and quiet. As much as I love a good deal, you won’t find me fighting big crowds to get it!
Most of the major stores have already release their Black Friday ads, so I’ve been checking BlackFriday.com to start planning my strategy!

Because Fridays deserve some cute animal videos….
Bath & Body Works Candles
The 3-wick candles at Bath & Body Works are my absolute favorites. Right now, they’re on sale for $12.50, so you know I’ll be picking some up this weekend!
I’m keeping it short and sweet today, so let’s go get this weekend started. I’ll see you all on Monday!
