Hello, America? You still there? Who’s nursing a post-election emotion hangover? Let me tell you, the last few days – scratch that- the last few months have been the worst. This election has just worn us all out. I’m typing this post up before the results are in, so I can’t really tell you how I’m feeling quite yet. All I know is I’m glad it’s over!
I’ve been eating my feelings a bit this week. Monday consisted of every item in my snack drawer (turkey jerky, pringles, cookies, etc.) and ended with me curled up in bed in the fetal position with a migraine and a terrible stomach ache. Note to self: the snack drawer is not to be consumed all at once.
Yesterday was slightly….slightly better, so I snapped some pictures to share with you for What I Ate Wednesday. Here goes!
I had a quick bowl of pumpkin spice cereal on my way out the door to the polls.
Once I got to work, I was still hungry, so I dug into a Chobani flip while going through emails.
They were both good, but I liked the honey lavender stress relief one a lot better. I think I need to pick up a box of those!
I dug into some leftover lasagna at my desk. Before you get all excited, just know that it was cooked by Stouffer. I will admit, however, that their lasagna is the bomb.
Not pictured, but I also ate a couple Pirouline wafers from the snack drawer. Damn you, snack drawer!
Riley was working late, so I was on my own for dinner. I had a salad and Sargento snack, followed by some wine while watching the news.
