Hey there! How’s the week going so far? So far so good over here, just trucking along with the work week. There are students on campus again, so I can feel the end of summer slipping through my fingers. It does feel nice to have some life back on campus, though.
It’s been a while since I took you guys through a typical day for me and I know I always love reading them when other people do it, so here goes. We’re combining my day yesterday with What I Ate Wednesday, so enjoy!
6:15 AM- Wake up, shower, put on makeup and make breakfast. Breakfast is 2 eggs with cheese, whole grain toast with smashed avocado on top, and some cantaloupe.
7:00 AM- Out the door! Time to make my way through traffic to the office.
7:45 AM- Arrive at work, check emails, do the typical morning stuff.
10:00 AM- All the faculty and staff head to hear the university president speak. He talks for a long time, but gives us a ton of great bragging points about how well the school did this year.
12:00 PM- Speech goes for almost two hours! My friend Yoma’s birthday was this past weekend, so we decide to go to Travinia for lunch to celebrate.
Lunch for me is bread (obviously) and a small spinach salad with pizza. They are both delicious.
1:30 PM- Super long lunch. Whoops! Head back to the office and work on some things. Take a mini break to sip some sparkling water and start writing this post. I bought store brand sparkling water and my co-workers turned their noses up it. Apparently we’ve all become sparkling water snobs.
3:00 PM- Meeting/training session for our new people to talk about one of my favorite parts of the job: travel season! We’re still a few weeks away from the start, but there’s a lot of work to do before we hit the road.
4:45 PM- Hurry back to my office to change into barre clothes, then make my way out of the office and hit the road to Williamsburg.
5:45 PM- Barre class! I pulse and tuck and pulse some more until everything’s on fire.
7:00 PM- Get home and Riley’s not home yet, but the pets are thrilled to see me.
7:30 PM- Dinner time. I have leftover orange chicken and vegetable fried rice from Trader Joe’s.
8:00 PM– Netflix time!
9:30 PM- Early to bed for me since I plan to be up early at the gym tomorrow. Nighty night!
What’s the best thing you ate yesterday?
