Hey friends, happy Monday! How was everyone’s weekend? Glued to the TV screen watching the Olympics? I definitely did some of that, but there was a lot of other fun stuff happening too.
My weekend really started on Thursday since I had Friday off. The weather was absolutely beautiful, so my co-worker, Yoma, and I decided to treat ourselves to a long lunch on the waterfront. We ventured up to the Crab Shack on the James River and enjoyed crabcake sandwiches and gorgeous views. I love living near the water!
Friday was spent hanging out with Riley since it was his day off. We went out for brunch, ran errands, did some shopping, and cooked up a nice little steak dinner at home to celebrate the start of the Olympics.
Saturday morning I was up nice and early to visit Colonial Williamsburg. I wandered around, checking out the gardens and getting in some exercise.
Everything is in full bloom and just absolutely gorgeous right now! Another one of my co-workers, Curtis, was in Williamsburg for the farmer’s market, so we grabbed a quick breakfast at Aroma’s. I was craving carbs so I had their lox and bagel, which hit the spot.
Then we explored the farmer’s market.
I picked up some veggies and made my way back home to do some cleaning and chores around the house.
Sunday started off productive, with some grocery shopping and a trip to the gym for a run and ab workout. When I came out of the gym, the sun was finally out, so I ran home and changed into my swim suit and spent the rest of the afternoon at the beach.

Then it was non-stop Olympics until bedtime!
What were you up to this weekend?
Do you have any good farmer’s markets where you live?
