No, the title’s not what you think, I just thought it was clever. I did realize when going through my photos for WIAW, though, that I had ALL the beverages yesterday. Explains why I had to pee so many times.
Every time I think about changing things up and not doing a What I Ate Wednesday post, I remember how much I like doing them. It’s fun to look back at a whole day of meals, but it’s also fun to check out all the other bloggers and what they’re eating! I’m linking up with Jenn’s WIAW baby today to share my meals from yesterday, so enjoy!
After waking up, I chugged the glass of water by my bed and headed out to an early barre class. After class and a shower, I dug into my current obsession: grapefruit, hard-boiled egg, and toast with PB. Plus a big cup of black coffee on the side.
Yes, it’s exactly the same as last week. It’s been 2 1/2 weeks and I can’t stop. I’m so obsessed I ordered those little serrated grapefruit spoons from Amazon. They make a world of difference.
Another obsession, Chobani yogurt. I tried a new flavor mid-morning and it hit the spot.
Lunch was a leftover salad from Monday night. We had a big salad with grilled sirloin on top. I dressed mine in a yogurt ranch dressing. Sorry for how un-pretty it looks. It was tasty, I promise.
I also drank bottle #2 of water that day.
After lunch (and a power nap on my office’s couch) I had a mug of green tea.
Then, later, a student brought me an Americano as a thank-you for helping him out with a housing issue.
It was a little late in the day for coffee, but when someone brings you a free Americano, you take it! Then catch your 3rd wind of the day and become crazy productive.
Dinner was courtesy of my slow cooker. We tossed two chicken breasts in the slow cooker with sliced peppers & onions, then topped it all with a jar of salsa and let it cook for 6 hours. Then we made burrito bowls out of it. I picked up this 90 second Southwestern quinoa & brown rice packet from Target the other day and it was perfect for these.
Then, of course, since I hadn’t had enough beverages for one day, I sipped a glass of white wine while catching up on the Bachelor.
It’s become clear that I will never stop peeing.
