Hey everyone! Hope you all had great weekends. I only had Sunday off and I didn’t feel like doing ANYTHING. In the full spirit of “lazy Sunday,” I watched Netflix all day in my yoga pants, ate PB out of the jar, and didn’t shower. Now you know why there was no weekend recap yesterday.
I’ve got a treadmill workout to share with you all today! It’s not quite nice enough (or light enough) in the early mornings for me to run outside, so I’m still hitting the treadmill at the gym. Sometimes I manage a steady run, other times my attention span is all over the place, so I tend to play around a lot. I came up with this last week and liked it so much I had to share it with you guys. It consists of three five-minute segments that can be complete twice for a 30 minute workout, or left alone for a 15 minute one.
Sometimes running feels awesome. Other times, the clock is taunting me the entire time, making 5 minutes feel like an hour. The day I made this workout was one of those times. I’ve found that breaking my run into smaller, more tangible goals, helps the time go by faster and makes the mental part a lot easier. This workout does exactly that! Even though this workout is definitely challenging, thinking of it as mini 5-minute workouts makes it so much more fun.
