When I got home from work yesterday, I had big plans to walk Bella and be productive. Then I got home and saw that the pets had been playing outside all day since Riley was home. Since the husband already had food cooking on the grill, I did the next best thing: poured a nice cold glass of white wine and chilled on the patio.
Yep, I put ice in my white wine. I’m classy like that.
For dinner, Riley grilled up some potatoes and pork chops, then made a big salad to go with it. It was a great spring meal and made me look forward to all the awesome dinners that we’ll be grilling over the next 6-7 months.
Killer Kettlebell Workout
And now it’s on to a new workout! One of my favorite toys at the gym is the kettlebell. It’s versatile, challenging, and fun. I also keep one at home for when I don’t feel like heading out to the gym.
This workout is quick, but very effective. You’ll get a great cardio boost if you move quickly from each move with little rest. The swings especially get your heart rate up. In addition, you’ll get a good strength workout as well. Win-win all around!

Just be careful with the clean and press. I totally banged that sucker on my forearm during the “press” part, though luckily I didn’t end up with any bruises.
