Hey, how’s your day going? It’s been a while since I put up a new workout! I went through a bit of a “going through the motions” phase with my workouts and I’m just now starting to get creative again. Sometimes all it takes is something small to nudge you in a new direction.
For me, all it took was walking by the counter at my gym and seeing a stack of white slips of paper. What a novel idea to put those out at the gym! I’m usually thinking of workout ideas while I’m running or cardio-ing, but I get distracted and can’t remember what I wanted to do. Having the slips of paper let me get my ideas down quickly. That’s how this superset workout came about.
I used a kettlebell, dumbbells, and a medicine ball for this. You could get creative and make it work with just dumbbells, though, if that’s all you have on hand.
I’ve included some links to some of the exercises you may not know.
- Kettlebell figure 8s
- Sumo squats with kettlebell (You can hold the kettlebell low if you want, like in the video. I like to hold mine up near my chest)
- Suitcase crunch
- Modified v-ups
Keeping it short and sweet today, so I’ll catch you later!
