Right? I laughed so hard at those. I think I’m a few days behind on finding that, but oh well.
This morning’s workout was a good one. I roused myself out of bed at 4:30 and got to the gym right at 5:00. To wake myself up, I hopped on a treadmill for a solid 25 minute run, then headed over to the weights section to work my arms. I did a few sets of the following:
- Bicep curls
- Seated rows
- Lat pull-downs
- Seated press
- Overhead shoulder presses
Nothing fancy, but it was a good way to start my morning. I’ve read differing opinions on the whole “cardio first or weights first?” dilemma, but I have to do my cardio first thing. If I don’t start sweating and moving, I’ll never wake up.
Last week I won Heather’s contest and received my top from Fabletics. I absolutely love it and it passed the fit test during this morning’s workout.
You don’t even need to say it. I look HOT at 5 AM. Just kidding, that’s clearly a lie.
Today’s breakfast is what promises to be a new favorite. I grabbed a new-to-me cereal at Trader Joe’s the other day: maple granola clusters. It’s seriously amazing stuff. I topped mine with banana slices, a dollop of cashew butter, and unsweetened vanilla almond milk. I’m addicted. I want to eat this for every meal now.
Oh! Before I forget, I have to tell you guys that I joined Instagram! Per usual, I’m years late to the party, but it’s cool. I like it so far, but I haven’t done much with it besides post a couple pictures and click the “follow all” button, which I’m pretty sure was a mistake.
