I woke up this morning pumped that it was Wednesday. Womp womp…. Not Wednesday. After realizing my mistake, I tried not to pout too much as I headed to the gym nice and early. I hopped on an elliptical for 30 minutes, then grabbed a mat to complete and ab workout.
Ab and core work is my favorite. I never thought I’d say this, but I actually think I like ab days better than leg days. I love feeling the burn of a great ab workout and it’s a total victory if I feel sore the next day.
Thanks to yoga, I’ve recently rediscovered how effective bodyweight exercises can be. While I love my medicine ball for ab work, you can still get a great workout without weights. I created this workout specifically to use just your body. We’re in vacation season right now, so if you’re out of town you can do this in your hotel room or even at home. Hope you like it!

I like this combo of moves because it challenges almost every part of the core. I definitely see this one staying on the regular rotation.
