Good morning, friends! We’re interrupting your regular WIAW programming to bring you a new workout. I’m currently living it up in Vegas, so we’ll keep this short and sweet. We have an amazing view from our room and we’ve already fit in so much, including the fact that I lost my first dollar gambling. Yes, I’ve only gambled a dollar so far, so I doubt I’ll be winning big this week.
Anyway, on to the point of today’s post.
I love to get in a workout on vacation. I tend to indulge quite a bit when I’m away, so I like to counteract all that gluttony and laziness with some physical activity. Not only does it help me feel more energized, but it also serves as a reminder to love and respect my body. Working out regularly isn’t just so I can look good in a bathing suit. I work out to maintain my health and to keep my body functioning at its best. This is especially important when you disrupt your normal routine on vacation.
Our hotel conveniently has a nice little gym, which I plan on using while we’re here.
Let’s say your hotel doesn’t have a gym, though. Or they have a really crappy one. I’ve stayed in places where their “gym” was a room with one treadmill from the ’80s.
This workout doesn’t require any equipment, so just make yourself a little area in your hotel room and you’re good to go. Hope you enjoy it!
This is a super simple workout, but I think simple is a good thing when you’re on vacation. Plus, because it doesn’t take long to complete, you’ll be back in vacation mode in no time.
Speaking of vacation mode…..I’ll catch you all later!
What are your favorite body weight exercises?
What’s your favorite way to work out on vacation? I’m a big fan of sneaking in a workout at the hotel gym, but going for a run through town is also fun.
